We will arrive 30-45 minutes before your appointment in order to complete consultation information and to set up for your special Massage Moment.
Please mention any gift certificates, coupons, or special offers at the time of booking your appointment. We will not be able to honor gift certificates or discount offers without them.
Form of Payment
We accept cash and all major credit cards, Visa, Master Card, American Express and Discover, Debit Cards or PayPal with one picture identification, e.g.. Driver license and one other ID.
We require a credit card deposit payment of 50% of the full amount of all booked services and 100% for add-ons, in advance when booking your appointment. This payment is refundable only if appointment is canceled more than 48 hrs. in advance. NO REFUNDS FOR ADD-ONS PURCHASED ESPECIALLY FOR YOU, I.E. FLOWERS~STRAWBERRIES, ETC ( IF CANCELLED LESS THAN 48 HOURS NOTICE ) ( IF YOU ONLY PAID A 50% DEPOSIT FOR ADD-ONS DURING ONLINE BOOKING AND CANCEL WITH LESS THAN 48 HOURS NOTICE, THE 2ND 50% OF MONIES DUE FOR ADD-ONS WILL BE DEDUCTED FROM MASSAGE / WELLNESS SERVICES FEES BOOKED AND CANCELED. ANY DEPOSIT REMAINING, AFTER ADD ONS ARE PAID FOR, WILL BE REFUNDED BACK TO CLIENT. PLEASE UNDERSTAND, WE HAVE TO PAY THE FLORIST, CATER, ETC FOR YOUR ITEMS ....
Policies
Relaxing Moments Massage will not be responsible for items lost on the premises or the location of your massage. We suggest you remove all jewelry or other items of value before your spa service and keep them in a safe place.
There will be no refund on services rendered or lost gift certificates, so please treat them as cash. Also, gift certificates are not redeemable for cash at anytime.
All payments are expected when services are booked. Unfortunately we cannot extend any type of credit.
We automatically add a 18% gratuity onto your Massage Moments bill. However, feel free to add more if your therapist did an outstanding session or have us take away %, if your therapist was not as expected. However, this has not happened in the 14 years of Massage Moments history. You may also leave an additional cash tip directly to the therapist, however, for the safety of our therapists, we prefer for it be added on your credit card instead. Each mobile therapist is equipped with a credit / debit card swiper. So, adding additional tip or some add-ons ( if therapist has enough of the proper add-on items with them & they have enough time to adequately perform the additional service ) can be easily added to your appointment, to make your Massage Moment even more special. So, please remember your therapist and treat them well, as they are working hard for you!

Certain treatments require extensive preparation, scheduling, and extra purchases i.e.. fresh flowers, chocolate covered strawberries and must be reserved with a full credit card payment or gift certificate number. Failure to cancel without a 48 Hour Notice will result in the full charges of these items to be non-refundable for the services, add ons and extra items purchased.
Certain treatments or products may be prohibited for some medical issues, conditions and medications. Please advise the therapist on your intake form or before the treatment begins, or at the time of booking your appointment. Please ask questions, as we want you to experience the best Massage Moment possible!
Gratuities are not included in any service rates or gift certificate sales. The online system automatically defaults to 18%, however, you can change this from the drop down menu before checking out.
All services are By Appointment Only. Any appointment which is outside of our travel area or after regular booking hours, will incur an additional expense. We are happy to accomodate late arrivals to the Island or greater Bluffton area, however, our therapists must pay extra for sitters, dog walkers & etc. after hours, however, we are here to serve you and will do everything possible to make you happy.

If you miss your appointment and/or are a no show and you didn't contact us to reschedule or rebook your appointment, without a 48 hour notice, you will receive 1 strike against you. You will lose all deposits paid for services at the time of booking, and any/all add-ons purchased for your appointment that an overage is due, will be fully charged to your card. Please be kind, and give us 48 hours notice, however, we understand that emergencies do happen and we have clients on a waiting list, however, we have to give them as much notice as possible, in order to take your appointment time. However, the goods purchased and prepared for your appointment i.e. add-ons, strawberries, prepared lotions, gels, flowers, candy, wine, champagne.....still must be paid for in full, as they are not of any use to anyone else. If you do this 3 times, you will be black listed and banned from our practice by all therapists indefinitely. So, please be considerate and give us 48 hours notice if you feel like you need to cancel or postpone your appointment, as your well being is very important to us.

We accept phone requests for purchasing a gift certificate with a credit card and we will mail the gift certificate to the person of your choice by USPS Priority Mail with tracking ( 3-4 day delivery ) for only an additional $6.95. Or, you may purchase online 24/7 and print the certificate yourself immediately after payment is made or have our system email the certificate to the recipient. You can also set up delivery of the certificate up to 60 days from the date of purchase, which is convienant if you are traveling or planning to be out of town during the special event. All gift certificates are good for 1 year from date of purchase. As per the laws of the State of South Carolina and our company policies. However, daily deals or some specials may only be good for 30 or 60 days. If this is the case, it will be noted on the special and printed on your certificate.
So, treat yourself or someone special as you can purchase, print and email any of our Instant Gift Certificates, 24/7 in the comfort of your home or work place and especially convenient for those last minute gifts as you run out the door. If you should purchase a dollar amount gift certificate vs. a service gift certificate....the recipient does not have to use the entire certificate at one appointment, and may schedule another appointment in the future, before the expiration date, for another service(s). If the service is more than what is left on the gift certificate, then a credit card payment can be made towards the difference.
A service(s) type gift certificate must be used all at the same appointment. If client doesn't want a particular service or doesn't have the time for all that are listed, they will forfeit the said service. We will however, try to accommodate if a client is contraindicated to a particular service or scent--we will substitute with something more compatible for the client if possible. However, we need to know this at the time of bookiing, so the changes can be made, and products needed to carry out your service appointment are available.
